MY TESTIMONY
I gave my life to Christ in 2002 and quickly became active in ministry. But over
time, pressure, pride and personal choices pulled me away from the calling
God had placed on my life. My marriage ended, I walked away from church,
and I tried to fill the emptiness with a lifestyle that only took me further from
God.
In 2005, while going through a divorce, I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's
lymphoma. I was angry, bitter and broken. What looked like strength on the
outside was hiding fear, insecurity, depression and questions about whether
my life had any real purpose.
In 2007, I repented and began seeking God again through prayer, His Word and
the church. God restored my health, rebuilt my life and gave me another
chance at marriage. He also gave me music as a way to tell the truth about
where I had been and what His grace had done for me.
That is why the name Rob Redeemed means so much to me. I am not claiming
perfection. I am living proof that failure does not have to be final and that
God's mercy can reach us in the places we are most ashamed of. My story and
my music are here to give God glory and remind someone else that restoration
is possible through Jesus Christ.
